DESCRIPTION:

Medi 1 TV is a private Moroccan television channel that was launched in December 2006 under the name Medi 1 Sat. Its headquarters are located in Tangier and have branches in Kenitra, Rabat, Casablanca,

Dakar and Abidjan, is a news channel whose board is headed by Hassan.

The MEDI 1 TV channel was created by the French and Moroccan authorities to promote French, Moroccan and Maghreb cultures under the name Medi 1 Sat on 1 December 2006 with a capital of 15 million Euros: 56% for Moroccan shareholders (Morocco Telecom and CDG) 30% to French shareholders and 14% to Radio Meade 1.

On September 16, 2008, the channel became 100% Moroccan after the announcement of the purchase of French shares by the CDG.

On 4 January 2010, four new shareholders entered the capital of the channel: Moroccan Vocational Pension Fund, Central Bank of Morocco, Moroccan Agricultural Cooperative and Moroccan Central Insurance and Cooperative Insurance.

On October 30, 2010, at 9:20 PM, MediSat changed its name to 1TV and switched from a news channel to a comprehensive channel offering entertainment, social, cultural and political programs.

For the first time in Morocco, MTVTV has signed an agreement to represent and distribute its famous program Incma Challenge with ECHOLINE. This partnership between the channel and the European production company builds on the global distribution of the program.

After the entry of new shareholders (Nekst Investment and Steeds Medias), the channel signed a new bearing book, which was followed by 1TV to a private television service with a national and international orientation.

On 1 February 2016 and in response to 80% of Moroccans, the channel turned into a semi-news channel, adding new newscasts around the clock from 6 pm to 7:30 pm. Almost a year after announcing the transition to a news orientation to keep abreast of developments in Morocco, Africa and the world, the channel was officially transformed from February 2017 into an African-African news channel under the name of Africa 1, thus launching a new era that gives importance to both Moroccan and African news. داكار و ابيدجان، هي قناة مخصصة للأخبار يرأس مجلس إدارتها حسن خيار.

تم إنشاء قناة "مدي 1 تي في" من قبل السلطات الفرنسية والمغربية لتعزيز الثقافات الفرنسية، المغربية والمغاربية تحت اسم "مدي 1 سات" في 1 ديسمبر 2006 برأسمال قدره 15 مليون أورو: 56 % لمساهمين مغاربة (اتصالات المغرب و صندوق الإيداع والتدبير)، 30 % لمساهمين فرنسيين و 14 % لإذاعة مدي 1.

في 4 يناير 2010، دخل أربعة مساهمين جدد إلى رأسمال القناة : الصندوق المهني المغربي للتقاعد، البنك الشعبي المركزي، التعاضدية الفلاحية المغربية للتأمين والتعاضدية المركزية المغربية للتأمين.

في 30 أكتوبر 2010 عند التاسعة و عشرين دقيقة مساء، مدي 1 سات تغير اسمها إلى مدي 1 تي في و تتحول من قناة إخباربة إلى قناة شاملة تقدم برامج ترفيهية، اجتماعية، ثقافية وسياسية.

في دورة 2012 للسوق الدولية لبرامج التلفزيون (MIPTV)، ولأول مرة بالمغرب، وقعت مدي 1 تي في اتفاقية تمثيل و توزيع برنامجها الشهير إينكما التحدي مع شركة ECHOLINE. وتنبني هذه الشراكة بين القناة و شركة الإنتاج الأوروبية على التوزيع العالمي للبرنامج.

بعد دخول مساهمين جدد (Nekst للاستثمار و Steeds medias)، وقعت القناة على دفتر تحملات جديد، تحولت على إثره مدي 1 تي في إلى خدمة تلفزيونية خاصة ذي توجه وطني و دولي.

في 1 فبراير 2016 واستجابة ل80% من المغاربة قامت القناة بالتحول إلى قناة شبه اخبارية ،واضافت مواعيد اخبارية جديدة على مدار الساعة من السادسة مساء إلى السابعة والنصف مساء . تقريبا بعد عام من اعلانها التحول إلى التوجه الاخباري لمواكبة التطورات الحاصلة المغرب، افريقيا والعالم تحولت القناة رسميا وابتداء من شهر فبراير العام 2017 إلى قناة اخبارية مغربية أفريقية تحت مسمى مدي 1 افريقيا، لتدشن بذلك عهدا جديدا يعطي اهمية للخبر المغربي والأفريقي معا مع انفتاح دائم على الاخبار الدولية ،لتعرض القناة الخبر برؤية جديدة
